Research Methods - Tulip subsite

I've been working with Allegra Cattani and a research student called Halina Kalaga in producing a Research Methods site. The aim is to have a central resource for students to get advice upon research and to be able to discuss and give feedback about the resource to Halina or Allegra.

The resource can be found:

This looks interesting and potentially useful UoP wide too - but it's a little worrying that it's been created in someone's MySite - perhaps sited within a relevant programme site would be more sustainable?

Also, I note from the content that an attempt has been made to provide accessible versions - however, users can always apply different style sheets within their browser for accessibility to meet their specific needs as long as styles are dealt with appropriately within the content. It appears that the page is simply duplicated 4 times with a different 'style' - if so, this clearly increases the admin needed to maintain it significantly...I hope at least the pages are using common content from a single source to avoid this?

I also note that a lot of the links are to external resources, even when UoP focused and maintained internal resources exist (e.g. the guide on creating charts in Excel/Word, the SPSS guide etc). While admirable and resourceful to make use of generally available sources, it does mean they are often not specific to the UoP software service and fail to tie in to the support and guidance available around the topics within UoP either.
